Program Marketing Specialist, Undergraduate Center for Career Development

The Program Marketing Specialist partners with the staff of the Undergraduate Center for Career Development (CCD) on all program activities:
assisting with planning, developing, collaboration, delivery, and overall program execution.
Specifically responsible for planning and providing programmatic, marketing, and logistical support for in person and virtual programs including but not limited to:
signature CCD Career Fairs, Spotlights, and employer events, student workshops, Career Advisory Council sessions, and experiential education opportunities (internships, externships, company treks, etc.
); successfully assisting with the creation of CCD and associated programs; collaborating with the CCD team to strategize, develop, and deliver quality events, programs, and experiences; successfully creating and communicating CCD and program marketing materials via various digital and print channels; managing within the annual budget for associated programs; and identifying opportunities for program enhancements and improvements.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Marketing & Communications Develop weekly student communications promoting upcoming CCD events, programs, employer opportunities, etc.
via fliers, social media platforms, campus LCD screens, and campus partner newsletters.
Execute CCD's social media marketing presence (i.
e.
, Instagram, Facebook, others) and all content and placement; partner with CCD's team and Peer Career Ambassadors (PCAS) to drive engagement; collaborate with other campus departments, College Marketing, as well as student clubs/orgs to cross market and amplify career related programs Participate in and support a range of CCD efforts in coordination with the campus recruiting program, Career Advisors, and the Graduate CCD office which includes assisting, as needed with the following:
greeting employers and students to the recruiting office; organizing events (in person and virtual); identifying volunteers including employers; and confirming and communicating logistics with participants.
Project Management Collaborate on the strategy and coordinate planning and execution for all CCD programs and events (i.
e.
, employers/recruiting, experiential, and career education), including working with CCD Team members, external vendors, and campus partners to request event logistics, catering, media services, and scheduling.
Execute and maintain external programs hosted/sponsored by CCD, including company visits; coordinate hotels, meals, and transportation.
Work with CCD's platforms and online tools (such as Handshake, WebEx, Zoom, etc.
) for creation and execution of both in person and virtual programs as necessary.
Includes use of platform break-out rooms, running the chat, setting up panelists vs attendees, etc.
Oversee, track, and assign team members to career related program requests received from campus community members (i.
e.
, student clubs, R.
A.
's, faculty and staff, etc.
) Within assigned budget, manage and track budget, expenses, waivers, payments, and contracts for programs and events; analyze overall spend and makes recommendations for future spend on programming to support students' experiential opportunities.
Independently negotiate, direct, build and maintain relationships with key vendors (i.
e.
, travel, catering, and room reservations); source and recommend vendors for UGCCD programs and events while managing cost and quality.
Operations & Resources Responsible for event management and leveraging CCD's online tools (i.
e.
, Google sheets) to manage yearly/semesterly programs and ensure dates, timelines, event leads, content, and event support are documented, supported and accounted for.
In partnership with CCD colleagues, support career portal, Handshake, job and employer approval process to establish and ensure quality and appropriate measures for vetting are met; once approved, external employer career programs are added to appropriate platforms for student viewing Be an active participant in scheduling, staffing, and facilitating student facing programs such as Campus Pop-Ups; Career Fairs, and Industry Spotlights.
Program Reporting Responsible for creating and maintaining RSVP process for events including reporting, nametags/tent cards (for in person events when appropriate), spreadsheets, etc.
through use of CCD's system and Babson's event registration system.
Oversee student workers assigned the above administrative tasks.
Collect data on program offerings.
Track and evaluate student and employer participation and send post event surveys to participants.
Recommend programmatic changes based on participant feedback.
In partnership with Assistant Director, Operations & Business Analytics, compile necessary end of semester and year-end program and event data to share with CCD leadership and team; collect Babson alumni engagement in CCD programs on behalf of and for Babson College Advancement.
Assume additional responsibilities as required.

Bachelor's degree required A minimum of 3-5 years of similar experience Must have demonstrated program marketing skills, including the use of social media Must have demonstrated program/project management skills Ability to pivot in changing conditions Ability to successfully perform multiple tasks and balance multiple priorities is essential Ability to work and manage tasks independently Must have excellent oral and written communication skills Must have a strong attention to detail and organizational skills Flexibility and willingness to assume new tasks and special projects Must have high comfort level with managing and running online video conferencing and web tools (such as WebEx, Zoom), including use of Break-out rooms, etc.
Must have strong computer skills including proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access-particularly experience with data manipulation within databases, PowerPoint, etc.
).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
