A fast growing company in Wellesley, MA is looking to hire a Systems Applications Lead. This person is crucial to the IT success of the company.
They are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of information systems, business processes, the key drivers and measures of success for the business and the short- and long-term direction of the business and technology.
Essential Functions:
Principal liaison to the business for all enterprise business systems-related matters.
Manage and evaluate business systems, current business processes and needs, maintain overall business application roadmap & strategy.
Partner with key business leaders to analyze business processes, then research, propose and implement solutions for complex business challenges leveraging standard selection & implementation methodologies.
Supervise systems upgrades and migrations.
Additional Functions:
Process improvement and automation:
Analyze and assess current business processes and make recommendations
Recommend, develop and administer policies and procedures
Assist with change management effort
Manage end user expectations
Monitor and ensure the smooth operations of an increasingly complex and hybrid systems environment
Review & mentor business analysts
Work with 3rd Party Vendors
Top Skills (top technical skills needed to be successful in role and how are they used / Will be noted in the candidate submittal write-up / If we find this they will hire):
1. Implementation experience
2. Previous management or lead experience (role is 50% management, 50% hands-on work). Example of hands on work - upgrading how the CRM module interfaces with accounting
3. Experience with RDMS (relational database management system). For example: Oracle or SAP etc...) and SQL . For example: Need to know how the applications affect the infrastructure.
4. Experience with Microsoft technologies (Exchange, SharePoint and Lync)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
