SAP Business Intelligence Practice Specialist (Senior Consultant/Architect) Finance. Perform project planning for SAP data warehouse & reporting solution consisting of onsite & off-shore resources; gather user requirements for Enterprise Reporting Architecture Using SAP BI (Release 3.5 to 7.0); work with Client Finance Team to identify Enterprise reporting needs and document them; develop Business Intelligence, data warehouse & reporting strategy; design, develop & implement Data Extraction, Transformation & Loading using SAP BW, Netweaver Platform (Versions 3.5 to 7.x); design & develop Financial Reports to meet statutory & regulatory requirements using SAP Business Objects R3.x; SAP Xcelsius Dashboard for Strategic analysis; SAP Business Explorer; SAP Web Application designer; provide data Analysis & support migration of data from legacy reporting systems to SAP BW; provide User & Technical Training SAP reporting tools; develop financial budgeting & forecasting tool using SAP suite of applications; develop ABAP programs routines/transformations to massage data to meet client business rules; upgrade from SAP BI release 3.5 to 7.0.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline plus 7 years experience working with software/business application design, development and implementation. Experience must include the following: 7 years experience in design & maintenance of High Volume Data warehouse applications, from concept to implementation; 3 years experience in Financial/Manufacturing industry; 1 years experience developing reporting solutions using Business Objects Web Intelligence; 4 years experience working with statutory/regulatory reporting requirements & business consolidation processes; 2 years experience working on SAP BCS / BPC consolidation platforms; 5 years experience as Team Lead or Senior SAP BI Lead managing a team of developers; 4 years experience coordinating workflow between onsite & offshore teams; 3 SAP BI Implementations as a senior Team Member & 2 Implementations as a Data Warehouse/BI Architect. Must be SAP Certified/Trained on SAP BI Platform & ABAP Programming.
Work location: Position managed in Wellesley, MA, but work will be performed at various unanticipated sites. Employee may telecommute from any U.S. location. 80% Travel Required. Salary: $121,160/yr. for 5 day, 40 hour work week, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
