Software Quality Assurance Analyst
Under limited supervision, the Quality Assurance Analyst carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet minimum company standards and end-user requirements. Software conforms to requirements and performs regression. This position is open due to an increase demand in the business and this person will likely be with the company for a long term duration.
Main Accountabilities:
Develops test strategy and test cases that meet the necessary testing of systems designed.
Thoroughly tests software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
Documents all problems and work to resolve them; reports progress on problem resolution to management.
Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations.
Performs workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements.
Collaborate as part of an Agile/Scrum team
Requirements:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience required.
Two to four years of progressive experience as a QA, Business Analyst, or Application Analyst/Programmer.
Requires sound knowledge of quality assurance methods and procedures, as well as familiarity with the full life cycle development processes.
Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written, organizational skills, interpersonal skills and project planning skills.
Demonstrated aptitude towards problem identification, resolution and comprehension and interpretation of technical procedures.
Preferred but not required:
Selenium automation experience
Salesforce Cloud functional testing experience
Database SQL experience
Agile experience
