A prestigious University outside of Boston is looking to high a Business Analyst for a long term opportunity.
This role will have a specific focus on the expansion of the schools Enterprise Content Management Software, but will also assist the Project Management Office with new project intake activities and solution design and configuration using other enterprise systems.
Key
Responsibilities:
Collect data and analyze business processes for different functional business units around the College.
Collect data and analyze business processes for different functional business units around the College
Assist with a business case for new projects; recommend potential business solutions and implement solutions
Elicit, articulate and document business and system requirements, procedures, and recommendations to improve existing processes
Weigh various suggested technical paths against original business needs and recommend the most cost-effective solution based on timing and other priorities.
Communicate technical solutions clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical personnel
Manage some projects from end-to-end
Make or gather time and work estimates for tasks
Liaise with and manage IT resources needed for solution estimation and implementation
Liaise with product vendors for research, troubleshooting, and informational purposes

Experience in designing, supporting and implementing enterprise content management solutions (ECM)
Understanding of academic environments, whether this means specific Higher Education experience, through a third party/client experience, or similar.
Experience gathering requirements for UI configurations and working with end-users to create customized dashboards in ECM tool(s).
Experience creating and maintaining IT product roadmaps
