Job Description:
As an Account Executive with Bowdoin Consulting, you will be responsible for continuously developing new business as well as growing and maintaining an existing client base. You will have the opportunity to take on some of our current accounts to build up your book of business while also having the flexibility to call into your choice of new accounts. In this outside sales role, you will sell Bowdoin's customized IT consulting services into enterprise accounts throughout the Northeast with focus on Technology, Healthcare and Higher Ed industries. We'll provide the training, tools and support you need to be successful and give you the professional challenge and achievement to advance your career within our fun and rapidly growing consulting group.
In this role, you will be involved in the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification, client business development, sales strategies, business qualification, negotiation, contract completion, and continuous relationship development. Our goal is to deliver excellence to our clients and be a dominant leader in the marketplace.
Responsibilities:
Establish account strategies and plans for assigned accounts and/or territory.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients ensuring continued success and further penetration.
Manage a significant book of business and deliver consistently to achieve weekly metrics, annual growth and annual goals.
Execute meetings with members of client management on all levels to qualify new and existing business.
Identify client initiatives and propose strategies for acquiring staffing business.
Effectively qualify client needs and communicate staffing priorities to recruiting team.
Collaborate with recruiting team to place top quality candidates quickly and efficiently.
Negotiate contract terms and billing rates with clients.
Thoroughly document all client activity (calls, meetings, meals, events).
Exceed weekly metrics, growth and annual goals.
Provide inter office leadership for new recruiters and Account Executives.
Collaborate with management and sales to identify industry trends and new opportunities within the market.
Professional
Experience:

Years' experience in a professional sales role within one of the following types of organization:
o Professional Services
o Staffing
o Technology Products
o Technology Services
Experience selling to enterprise size companies at Director level and above.
Demonstrated success in a metric & goal oriented sales environment.
Demonstrated success with territory based sales and continuous account development & maintenance.
Experience negotiating contract terms and expectations with clients.
Experience in a collaborative team environment.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
