Network Admin - Contract to Perm - Start ASAP !

Summary:
This position reports directly to the Infrastructure IT Manager. Will provide on-going maintenance and support for our sites to ensure infrastructure stability and maximum 'up-time.
The Network Admin provides exceptional onsite support to clients in a timely and enthusiastic manner. The FE serves as the face of the IT Department and must hold his or herself to the highest ethical and professional standards. Punctuality, prioritization, organization, and time and perception management skills are critical to the success of this role.
50-75% of the time will be spent traveling to sites. NO OVERNIGHT TRAVEL, most within Massachusetts some in the surrounding areas. Gas Mileage Reimbursed!
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Prioritizing and planning service calls.
Performs appropriate preventative maintenance for client and coordinates with support team members and/or supervisor as necessary.
Collaborates with support team members and/or supervisor to solve issues not closed on initial contact and timely communicates information to user.
Identifies troubleshooting techniques/steps and documents all case information and updates as information becomes available via Sysaid ticketing system.
Follows proper escalation procedures as defined by management.
Handles and coordinates technical issues of a project
Performs required tasks, installations, configurations and maintenance of the Infrastructure environment as assigned in our Andover Data Center.
Top Skills required:
Experience with Cisco command lines
Experience with installation, configuration and maintenance of wireless networks
Significant experience configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting all versions of Microsoft Windows OS and server platforms
Familiarity with mobile device support (iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile and Blackberry)
